| Based on the Malcolm in the Middle Plot and Characters CHAPTER 1 Reese and Malcolm had just gotten home from school. It was a Friday and next Week was April Break. Reese's friends were going down to Cancun for Spring Break. His Mom wouldn't let him go, because he was grounded. He was complaining to Malcolm about how he couldn't go and Malcolm asked why would you want to people are just gonna party all night and act like freaks. Reese thought about it and said, "Shut up Malcolm, how would you know." Malcolm told Reese look we got new neighbors. Reese was like, "you know what this means he said as he smiled." At that moment the doorbell rang. Malcolm thought who could that be. Then he heard the voice of a middle-aged woman. Lois yelled up to them Malcolm...Reese, boys get down here. They ran down the stairs surprised that they weren't in trouble and stood behind Dewey. The woman was with a younger boy. She said Hi my name is Lisa and this is my son Mike. He is 9. Dewey's eyes got wide as he realized that he was gonna have someone his age in this neighborhood. Lois said, "Hi my name is Lois, nice to meet you." Dewey quickly responded I am Dewey and I am 9 too. Lois introduced Malcolm and Reese and said these are two of my sons and my other son is in military school. Lisa told Reese and Malcolm, I have a daughter about your age. They both just stared at her like they didn't care. Lois quickly changed the subject "my husband should be home soon." Reese whispered to Malcolm I hope she don't look like her Mom. At this time Hal just pulled in the driveway. He walked up to the door and had a look on his face like what is this about. Lois quickly said, "Hal these people are going to be our new neighbors." His expression changed and he said "hi." Mike said "Mom can Dewey come over and go swimming?" She replied, "Yeah sure." Dewey looked at Lois. She told him to go ahead. Dewey started out the door. Lois asked him was he going to swim in that? He ran upstairs to change. Reese and Malcolm just shook their heads and went to Malcolm's room. Malcolm goes Reese do you want to go swimming? Reese said, "Shut up Malcolm and pushed him into the wall." When he got up from the wall he passed by the window and his jaw dropped. All he said was Oh My God. Reese kept repeating what... what.... what.... What is out there? All Malcolm could do was point out the window. Reese called Malcolm a loser and got up. Then he saw what Malcolm saw and said, "That's her daughter? They continued to watch her as she was tanning by the pool. Dewey is over there, maybe we can go talk to him, Reese thought. Lois yelled Malcolm go get your brother. Reese said, "I will do it," as he ran down the stairs. Lois said "where do you think your going no where Mr. Malcolm do it." Reese whined, "Why can't I go over there." Because I want to make a good impression and I am not sending a hoodlum over there to cause trouble. You have caused enough problems for the rest of the neighborhood, so you need to leave these new people alone." Reese walks away saying "This sucks your not being fair." Malcolm grins at Reese and keeps walking. Reese yelled, "I'll kick your ass." Malcolm walked over to the neighbor's house slowly because he was kind of nervous. He walked up to the pool and said, Dewey it's time to go. I looked up startled because she didn't know any one was there. Malcolm looked up at her. He said, "Uh...Uh... Hi... umm... I am MMM-Malcolm. Oh hi I am Amber nice to meet you. Then Malcolm panicked not knowing what to say he turned to Dewey and said come on Dewey time to get out. The Dewey splashed him and I just giggled slightly. Malcolm was now glowing with embarrassment. Lois yelled from her house, "Dewey get your but home now." Then Dewey got out. Malcolm said bye to me and she replied bye I guess I'll be seeing you around. Yeah he replied. Then I laid back down to tan. As soon as he got it the house Reese asked him "what did she say?" She told me her name was Amber and that was it. Reese went upstairs and looked out the window. Amber wasn't there anymore. He fell asleep early. He kept thinking about Amber. Amber only knew that there were two boys next door she hadn't found out about Reese. CHAPTER 2 The next day Lois made the boys go get groceries with her. When they came back, Lisa came over to talk to Lois. Reese stood next to his Mom. Lisa told Lois they were having a barbecue and they asked all the people on the block to come but they said they all said they hated kids. Lois said well I know they probably said that because of my kids. Lisa asked Reese how old he was and he replied 15. She said that's how old Amber is have you two met yet? He looked up at Amber's window squinting his eyes because of the sun and saw her. When she looked at him he turned to Lisa and said what? Lois said no but it's probably better that way right Reese? He just walked away. Then an hour later the doorbell rang. Reese got up and opened the door and to his surprise it was Amber. He just stared at her and he didn't know what to say. She broke the silence and said Hi I am Amber and gave him a sweet smile. Lois yelled, "Reese Are you gonna let her in?" He replied oh yeah sorry. Then Lois walked in from the kitchen with her apron on and everything. She said hi Amber I am Lois and don't mind the mess, Reese you could have the decency to introduce yourself. He replied...oh umm...I am Reese. I replied My Mom sent me over here to find about school...and stuff. Malcolm came downstairs and started to ask his Mom where his shoes were and he stopped when he saw Amber. Lois said, "what did you need hunny?" Oh never mind... Hi Amber. She smiled and said hi what's ups as she walked past Reese to great Malcolm. He replied nothing why are you here? My Mom wanted me to come over and find out about school. That's cool... She interrupted....You have the cutest house. Lois said Malcolm why don't you show her around. Just then Dewey came out of his room and said hi Amber. Lois questioned "Amber hunny what grade are you in?" Umm... 9th. Reese glanced and gave a look to Malcolm like you lose. Lois replied oh that is what grade Reese is in, but you probably should have Malcolm help you. Well, they both can help me I wanted to see if I knew anyone in my class. Reese said lets go in my room I'll show you my schedule. She replied OK that sounds good and looked at Malcolm. They all went up to Reese's room. I asked if Reese could you put on some music. He said yeah. Then I followed him to the CD player and said "wow that's a hot CD player." "It sux." "Let me put something on?" "Go ahead" he said as he smiled while he was thinking I hope she doesn't put something bad on. "Umm...wait can I see your schedule." "Oh yeah. Sure." Then I gave it to him. Reese said, "OK, OK... You win, were even." She smiled and replied, "I always win." Malcolm kept thinking OK go out already. Then there was a knock on Reese's door. "Come in." It was Lois. "Boys dinner is in 15 minutes, Amber would you like to join u?" "Sure" "OK call your Mom, someone get the phone for her." "Reese said I'll get it" Malcolm and I were left alone in the room. "OK.... so how are the people at school?" "Well, I don't have a lot of friends because of the class that I am in, and the rest are like Reese and then you have the really popular people who are too good to associate with anyone." "OH... Seems nice" I replied not knowing what to say. Just then Reese came back in thank god because Me and Malcolm weren't hitting it off. "Here's the Phone." I called my Mom and she said I could stay. "Oh guys I am going to the mall tomorrow after school would you guys like to come?" "Sure... why are you going there?" Reese replied. "No thanks" said Malcolm. "Malcolm you have to go... come on go please, it will be fun." I whined. "OK fine" I smiled at him "It will be fun I promise, I am going shopping for clothes." CHAPTER 3 "Dinner's Ready" We had spaghetti and mashed potatoes and bread. Right after dinner Dewey questioned, "Do you wanna play Playstation with me?" "Sure I guess it sounds cool." I answered. "Let's play racing," Dewey said, "Amber you can be on my team." "You guys are going down." I said to Reese and Malcolm as I smiled at them. "Yeah...sure you are" Reese laughed. We kept beating them so they kept demanding a rematch. "Kids its 10 o'clock and someone has to go to bed, besides you all have school tomorrow" Lois told them. "Well, I guess I gotta go." I said. "I'll walk you home." Reese said. "Awe... you don't have to its right next door." "It's all right I don't want anything SCARY to get you," as he tickled her side and she screamed. Then we walked to my house. "Thanks...see you tomorrow." I said as I was walking up my stairs. "Amber wait a minute" "Yeah?" "I am gonna come to your house in the morning before we walk up to the bus stop." "OK...good night" I replied as I shut the door. Reese walked home smiling. When he got inside he went upstairs to his room and went to bed. CHAPTER 4 The boys woke up and got ready for school. Reese spent extra time picking out an outfit and making himself look good. Then Malcolm and Reese rang my door bell. My Mom answered, "She will be right down she takes a long time." I was walking down the stairs as I Said "HI." I was wearing my outfit from Macy's. It was a black mini skirt with a chain belt and I was wearing a white XOXO shirt that said beauty in Chinese. I had knee highs and some cute shoes. I also had a matching hand bag and the strap what the same as my chain belt. I bought my whole outfit at Macy's. I was carrying a pink expandable. When Reese and Malcolm saw me both of their jaws dropped. I walked by them and said "come on guys what are you waiting for." I walked up between Malcolm and Reese. Malcolm said, "You look nice." "Thanks so do you." I replied. Malcolm thought yeah right I can tell she is just being nice. I looked at Reese and smiled. "Sit with me on the bus" Reese said. "OK" When we walked on the bus I walked before Reese and everyone was staring. I sat in a seat and Reese sat with me. Reese's two best friends just looked at each other like is he crazy. "Reese will you walk me to homeroom?" "Sure" When we got off the bus everyone just kept staring at us. I asked Reese, "Umm...why is everyone staring at us." "Umm... Probably because Reese the Loser is with a hot girl." "Shut up, I am not hot." "I would let you" he joked. I just gave him this look like you jerk and laughed. We finally go to homeroom and he said to the teacher "This is Amber." He looked up gave me my stuff and then said, "I know its your first day and all but you shouldn't hang out with Reese." "I can handle him" We walked out, "What a jerk why doesn't he like you?" "Cause I am stupid." "No your not" "There you go arguing again" "Well you started it" "Nope you did." "I will take you down." You started it, I laughed. CHAPTER 5 I went to Reese's locker with him and saw a poster over the water fountain and asked Reese "What is winter ball?" "It is this dance that people go to, it's a semiformal" "Sweet are you going?" "Probably not." "Go it sounds like fun." "I might...You can use my locker until you get one... OK?" "Sure thanks." The two guys came up and pushed Reese and said "thanks for waiting for us on the bus." "Oh yeah sorry.... Umm... This is Amber, Amber this is Matt and this is Josh." "Nice to meet you" as I greeted them with a smile. "You have no idea" josh said. Reese quickly interrupted "OK we have to go to homeroom so we can get her settled in. OK bye" "Bye" they replied "Bye" I said. We walked in to homeroom. There was a group of girls in there talking. The one blond girl turned around and looked at us. We walked and sat down next to each other. The blond girl walked over to us and said "Hi you must be new my name is Jennifer but everyone calls me Jen." "Hi I am Amber." "So you're in this homeroom?" "Yeah..." "When is your lunch? "7th" "Reese save me this seat right here...I have to talk to Amber after, hun come with me and meet the girls." "OK." "Hey girls this is Amber, Amber this is Mandy, Brit, Jess, and Nikki." "Hey" they all said. "Hey" "So do you have a boyfriend" "Kinda.... I guess... my boyfriend and I didn't really break up when I left and I haven't talked to him at all." The bell rang. The teacher came in introduced that we had a new student and started teaching. Jen was in my 6th period class and so was Reese. There were mostly guys in this Class. Jen introduced me to Tyler, Bob, Mike, Jay, Chris, Derek, and John. Jen asked me to stay after with her and I told her I was going to the mall with Reese and Malcolm and then I asked her if she wanted to go. She said she would but usually we all get together in the cafeteria and then go and do stuff. "Do you wanna do that so everyone can come?" "OK sounds great." "I'll tell everyone."
