Known Issues (most recent first) | |
| O | Run-time error '35601 - element not found' error occurs on startup of JBCommander between v3.0 and v3.1. This was occuring as it was about to tell you that the version had expired and to download a newer version. The remedy is to download the latest version of JBCommander. |
| O | Not all your tracks show up on JBCommander. There is apparently a bug in the Jukebox firmware ver 2.93/2.94 that sometimes truncates the list of tracks it gives to JBDirect.
Because JBDirect uses a separate cache file from PlayCenter, you may see all your tracks there but not in JBCommander.
To get around this, try running the cleanup option on the Jukebox itself, then deleting the JBDirect cache located in: \Program Files\Common Files\DEVConcept Shared\JBDirect\Cache then if that doesn't work, try running the Rebuild Audio Cache menu option in JBCommander. You should also make sure that your Jukebox is connected to the USB ports directly on the motherboard, and not on expansion cards, or external hubs. Also make sure that no bandwidth hungry USB devices are currently running directly on the motherboard USB ports while using the Jukebox. Creative Labs have also suggested to check that no other device is running on the same IRQ as the Jukebox. |
| O | 'Failed to add tracks to playlist: JB_ERR_TRACK_ALREADY_EXISTS' error occurring when re-transferring file to Jukebox that already exists in the specified playlist. This was fixed in 2.2. |
| O | 'Object doesn't support this property or method' runtime error occurring on startup. This was fixed in v2.1 If you find it still occurs, e-mail me. |
| O | 'Element not found' runtime error occurring under certain circumstances on startup. This was fixed in v2.1 If you find it still occurs, e-mail me. |
| O | Duplicate tracks in playlists disappear. JBDirect does not allow you to have the same track in a playlist more than once (makes sense anyway). PlayCenter allows this. If you load a playlist with duplicates, JBCommander removes the duplicate entries on load. If you then change the playlist (such as adding/removing tracks on the playlist) then the playlist gets saved onto the Jukebox and the duplicate tracks are permanently removed. This will not be changed. |
| O | An error "'Method '~' of object '~' failed' on DoLoadContents" occurs while loading contents of Jukebox with version 3 firmware. This is an issue with JBDirect that was addressed by DevConcept in v3.10. This should now be fixed in JBCommmnader v2.4.1 |
| O | The setup program says some system files are out of date, you reboot, re-run setup and it says the same thing again. This was fixed in v1.6. |
