Aside from the fact that the old bones ache a lot, there seems to be a lot of expense in the everyday upkeep.
Although, we've never been wealthy, we've gotten along pretty well over the years but now that the income isn't what it used to be, we find that those "everyday things" are getting more and more difficult to pay for.
Somehow, it just doesn't seem right that you have to let the grass grow a few more days just because you don't want to spend the money to fill the mowers with gas. Or that you have to worry that the furnace or water heater are getting old and if something goes wrong with them, you'll have problems repairing or replacing them.
But, the truth of the matter is that wheather you own your home or rent, a time comes when you have to decide if it's time to consider a new way of living.
Your health may be failing or your income might not be large enough to cover the expense of a house. Or, it might even be that you just don't want to spend the time taking care of the place anymore.
Whatever the reason, there are alternatives!
