Beeeg  Nay-Tan!
This is the pit sort of thing, where we mixed concrete and mortar by hand.  It took a lot of rocks, dirt, water and portland cement along with a lot of man power to get that stuf right.  But man, was it ever fun slopping it in to wheel barrows!
This was how we got our small rocks for the concrete.  I believe some women from the village by the worksite (Kokrobite) would collect larger rocks from the foothills surrounding the worksite and then this woman would spend about 4 hours in the morning smashing them into smaller rocks.  After which she would go home and cook lunch for her family.  She was paid by the pan load of small rocks.
It looks like Les and Sarah are working out some of the finer points of making mortar for the brick laying.  It was a tricky process that could be ruined by too little, or too much water.
This is the whole team and the worksite guys we were working with on the last (and tearful) day.
