Thank you for taking the time to go through this web site I dedicate specially to my lovely hometown, Muar.
My name is Jazlan Yatim. My full name is Ahmad Jazlan bin Hj. Mohd Yatim bin Hj. Salleh bin Hj. Hanapi (migrated to Muar from Jawa and one of the pioneers of Parit Setongkat) bin Mat Katur bin Taib(from Madura, Jawa, Indonesia).I am a guitarist who happen to be trained as an accountant, and now play drums for a band or two... or three.... I am married to a lovely lady by the name of Khairunnisa Caroline Jinap Abdullah and we are blessed with a child named Aarif. I am currently living in Petaling Jaya, Selangor D.E., a suburb of Kuala Lumpur (capital city of Malaysia).

Why did I do this site? I don't know, it just evolved and I must be mad, or perhaps I'm trying to proof myself that I can do something worthwhile to the community. If anyone knows how to make some money out of it please let me know.
I get lots of emails asking all sorts of questions about all aspects of Muar. Quite honestly I don't know the answer to most of these questions. I suggest you phone the relevant body and ask them, either from the numbers on this site, their web site or ask the operator - or maybe a library. Once you have the information, then perhaps you could help build up the contents of this side by email it to me or to the muar_web message board.
