I bought this van in Biloxi, MS from the first owner in 1995. The couple had bought it there at the local dealership in 1977. In the glove box I found a spiral notebook with mileage logs and
lists of services and when they bought the camp windows and little trips they went on. I have driven this bus since 1995 all over the south LA, MS, AL, GA, SC, and FL. I had to put a new engine in it right after I bought it, but after $3000 and two months she was running again with the help of some way cool guys in Point Clear and one expensive but good mechanic on Airport Bvld in Mobile, AL. (I didn't meet Everett until later that year.) |
