The purpose of this website is for any potential customer to quickly understand the services offered, the prices, location and how to contact Rony's barbershop. I didnt want to put irrelevant information. I want the website to be straight to the point. I know that customers want to be able to quickly find the information they need.
The reason I designed my website this way is to make it catchy, fun and easy to navigate. I wanted to include pictures in order for the user to visualize the style of haircuts offered. I used black and white pictures because I thought it gave the website a classy look. I personally like when I am able to quickly find the location of a business and that is why on the home page I inserted the google maps with the address of the barbershop. I did attempt to use other types of fonts but for whatever the reason they were not working properly. So I used times and cursive fonts. I gave the navigation menu a fixed position because I believe it makes it easier to navigate while exploring the website.
This is the first website I create using only HTML. It was fun and I intend to create more websites in the future but I do have much more to learn. I had a lot of trouble with floating images to the right of the text in the SERVICES page. I wanted to vertically align the pictures but it was challenging to find a solution. I finally, decided to create a work around, I combined all the 3 different pictures into one. I know that is not the proper way but that is the only way I was able to do it. I attempted to create animation on the page but at the end I didnt think it would have been appropiate for this website. I would however, want to learn how to add animation to a website.
