Our Colorado "Ranch" - May 2000
At the end of May, 2000 we made it back out to our land for a whole week...of camping. I hadn't camped since Boy Scouts, about 35 years ago. But, we had a great time and great weather.
This was the view I woke up to Sunday morning about 6:30 AM. Pretty much explains the attraction of the place!
Here's a panorama looking west to the Sangre de Cristos on the left to Mts. Mestas, Rough and Silver on the right. (Use the horizontal scroll bar to pan back and forth.)
This is where we ate most of our meals while camping. Great dining room!
A nice vignette in the arroyo. A "natural bridge."
And here are Pistol and Pepper, a couple of border collies that adopt us whenever we are on the land. They belong to our neighbor, but seem to find us more interesting.
