In 2004, four political parties of the left; Labour party, Progressive party, Green party and the Alliance party have nominated me with two others candidates , Mr Steve Bayliss ( from The Green party) and Mrs Jill Ovens ( President of Alliance party) as candidate of Auckland Regional Council under the ticket of Manukau Vision.

We stood for the programs agreed by these four parties to develop the Auckland Region                  
- With good and reliable public transport like trains, buses, ferries etc..
- To protect the sale of public assets
- To protect the environment
- To make sure there is a differentiation of rates between residence rates and business rates.
- Combat pollution.
- No excess expenditure.
- No Toll roads
- Getting things done.

In 2005, I was again selected by the party to stand as candidate of Pakuranga electorate. I was again ranked again No 8 at this election for the party list.

At this election,

-I had been invited by Hwasia Society of NZ for a political forum at St Columbus Church along with candidates of other political parties to speech for their party to the members of Hwasia society ( about 500 people attendants).
-I had been invited by WTV which is represented by 22 different chinese medias in New Zealand for a political forum with other political leaders of other parties at Auckland Institutes of studies and to answer their different question concerning Progressive party.
-I had been invited by members of St    community for a speech to represent Progressive party.
-I had been invited by Catholic Church in Pakuranga for a political forum a long with other Candidate of other parties.

Our campaign in front of Manukau Technical Institute for 2005 General election
Our campaign team has made many speeches in public to campaign our party success in improving NZ economy, employment, kiwi bank, air NZ etc... and our party future agenda with the future government to improve education fee( more affordable and a schem which the goverment would help the students to pay back their debts), health for young people and old people, a reduce tax for company to increase more employment and increase more investments.
