I'll bet he's a squirmy little angel, Not content to float around.
But the leader of a merry band Of little souls he's found.
They frolic in the heavens, Playing tag and hide and seek.
While flying to and fro With angel wings so sleek.
He left this earth before his time, But has gone to a better place.
Where only joy exists And life's a slower pace.
He has a great big job now, Keeping his brother safe.
And sending down the sunshine To brighten his mother's face.
We cried so when he left us But now we know the why
He's keeping watch on Blayze and Mom From God's great wondrous sky.

Darling Baby Jayden, Precious angel that you are, Resting now in Jesus' arms, Though you sometimes seem so far, It's when the warm, soft breezes flow And tossle Blayze's hair, We sense that you and angels reach- That's when we are aware That time and space can't separate The love we have for you; We say a prayer or cry a tear, That's all we can now do Till one sweet day we walk upon God's glistening sunbeams bright, Then reach for you and hold you In the Lord's forever light. For now, a prayer or tear must do Until we reach that day When Jesus brings us back to you And wipes our tears away.
