Here is what I carry along for the ride in case something goes wrong.
10 feet of heater hose
Four 1-� hose clamps
Two 5/8� hose barb couplers
Coolant or water jug (with coolant or water inside) Make sure coolant is at the recommended dilution.
Tools � Screw driver and an adjustable wrench.
Extra Tips
If you change your own oil use Castrol 15-40 for diesels. The local Mercedes dealership recommended it to me.
