Like
most guys, I enjoy many physical activities. I have always been the
athletic type. I played all kinds of
sports from football to running track. I now spend most of my free time
in the
gym. I am an ESA certified personal/ strength trainer, but have
not
had the time to train anyone except for my family and friends. I am
also
a big fan of UL football. We haven't won many games, but that does not
stop
me from tailgating.
Other than sports, my favorite
hobby is my car. Ever since
the movie "Fast and the Furious" came out, street racing became more
popular in Lafayette. Since then, I have been spending a lot of money
working on my car. I have a Silver 2001 Ford Mustang with a few
modifications.On weekends, a couple of friends and I can be
seen driving around Lafayette looking to get ourselves into
trouble. I have had a few close
encounters with the cops, but none of them were as serious as this last
time. About two months ago ( June 2003) I was leaving a bar
on my way home, drunk of course, and a car with these three guys fly by
my
flicking me off. As they passed, I realized that it was one of my
friends
and I casually sped up to catch up to him. Before I knew it, we were
going
about 100 mph. Well to make a long story short, we ended up passing an
undercover
cop and found ourselves in a parking lot with four other cop cars. We
were
very lucky that night. We were both given a slap on the wrist and let
go.
Needless to say, I don't drive down that road anymore.
