4. How was Mr. Hansen to work with?

(Jeff Solano) A complete pleasure to work with. He's ultra professional, very talented and funny. A very good guy. I'd work with him again for sure, any time, any place.
(Timothy Gates) Fantastic! Gunnar is such a great guy. I hope we can work together again. Early before shooting I called him to see how he was managing with the script. He went into Dr. Howard right off and had me laughing! If you've ever talked to Gunnar you realize that Dr. Howard is nothing like this man. His acting was fabulous and it was exactly what I was looking for. Not to mention his input into the character. He was more than happy to do things just the way I wanted but he had plenty of suggestions and I employed many of them.
(M. Sky Chamberlain) Gunnar was a great guy to work with. He reminded me of a big Jerry Garcia.....just this "tall teddy-bear" as my wife put it. He was very approachable and has a genuine feel for comedy. I personally feel that it's a direction he would do well to explore more. I think he really enjoyed playing a loony guy that didn't have to carve people up for attention.

5. Will the film see a wide release? How about its home video future?

(Jeff Solano) As far as a wide release in Theatres, most likely no. The home video route however is looking promising. We are working on that right now. We will be picking up an agent very soon. Look for NEXT VICTIM to hit the shelves in the near future!!!
(Timothy Gates) Our goal from the beginning was direct to video distribution. It's difficult for the big studios to be successful with a theatrical release and I didn't think it would merit the energy to shoot for that. We are still in the process of acquiring distribution but this has been slowed down because we actually went in and made a few revisions to the film and completely reshot the opening credit sequence but I think you can expect to see this film at the video stores soon.
(M. Sky Chamberlain) Honestly, in my opinion as I have often said in the past....Next Victim is geared for the Saturday night B-movie junkie who is walking the isles of their favourite video store with a case of cold ones in the trunk of their car and a pizza on the dashboard....I say this with great nostalgia and utmost respect for the project and it's intended audience. It fulfills a purpose in our society (and perhaps that of other countries) to provide roughly an hour and a half of the B-movie "fix" to those who need it......and you know who you are! :-)

6. What can you say makes "Next Victim" unique among other films?

(Jeff Solano) Where else do you have a comedic yet demented Gunnar Hansen in a mental hospital, a sexy young receptionist that smears blood all over her tits, and diaper man?? I'll let the audiences decide that one.......

(Timothy Gates) Right off, the fact that we have Gunnar in a comedy role. Don't get me wrong, it's not all fun and games but you have never seen this. I also like to think that this film has a cerebral quality that a good share of horror films are missing. There is subtext in this movie. The monster in Monstercam.com is more than just that, it is a metaphor. Every character is a metaphor which applies directly to our society. If you wish to ponder these things then the film is rich with it. If not, then you can just sit back and simply be entertained by some blood and mayhem.
(M. Sky Chamberlain) The uniqueness of Next Victim may lie in it's multiple Directors......as an independent film project I don't know of many like this. We each brought a different style. I think most first time directors start with a short film.....it's usually cheaper....and a lot easier to put together. In our case we capitalized on our mutual desires and worked together to create something bigger than that which we could have done individually.

7. Will we see a sequel to the film?

(Jeff Solano) Very possible. We've thrown around the idea to keep it going. Make three or four short horror films and change the tie- in segments. We could pump them out fairly fast and they would be very entertaining! Plus, more Gunnar!!!
(Timothy Gates) We have been talking about a sequel and have many ideas to bring it to life. So, I think this will happen more sooner than later. But right now we are in development of feature length, non-anthology projects.

(M. Sky Chamberlain) Who knows.........a sequel in this case would probably be more successful as a television show in the vein of something like "Tales from the Crypt."

8. After "Next Victim", what next?

(Jeff Solano) Were putting together a promotional package right now that consists of about 6 films that we would like to have any potential investors back up. There's horror, action adventure, and a comedy at slate. We just need an investor now.
(Timothy Gates) We have a few projects in development that are ready to go so at this point it is more of a question of which project will be the first to get financial backing.
(M. Sky Chamberlain) We have a huge idea involving CGI.....Blue screens.......A-list actors.....and enough blood to fill your municipal water tower.....but our lips are sealed under contract at the moment! ;-)
