New Spells

The following are a list of the spells that have been developed by our group for use in our games. If these spells are used in our game and considered unbalanced for our power level, I will label them as so, but that does not mean that you may not use them in your game if your game is of an appropriate level.

Indirect Illusion

False Teleport

Description

The target of this spell becomes invisible, while simultaneously an image of them appears elsewhere in the caster's line of sight. The double emerges amidst a flash of light and sound to distract an enemy from the real person's position. The double appears, sounds and smells like the actual person, but they are intangible. Bullets and other physical attacks will pass through. The spell is area effect and is resisted with Intelligence.

Description

The target of this spell drifts off to sleep and they wake up feeling like they simply drifted off while doing what they were doing. The threshold for this spell is half the target's Willpower.

Telekinetic Manipulation

Repulsor Touch

Description

A hybrid of Fling and Levitation, Repulsor Touch is a spell designed more for flash than practicality. When the person touches or strikes a target the object/person is telekinetically thrown away from the person. The spell itself does no damage, though if a person is repelled into a hazardous object, damage may be inflicted. Speed of repulsion is Magic * successes at a Strength equal to Force. The repulsion can be resisted by Strength.

Elemental Manipulation

Molecular Meltdown

Description

Engulfs the target in a ball of light, which breaks down the bonds between the molecules. Inanimate objects are also vulnerable when cast at higher powers. Resisted with Body or Object Resistance.

Blizzard

Description

Frost strikes the target with a frigid blast of cold air, snow and ice. The area around the target becomes slippery, making walking difficult. Heated clothing can protect a target and reduce the power of the spell. Blizzard is the area effect version of the spell. Resisted with Body or Object Resistance.

Description

Sandblast hurls a stinging cloud of abrasive sand at the target. Vision penalties apply in the area around Sandblast and Air elementals and Sylphs take extra damage from the spell. Sandstorm is the area effect version of the spell. Resisted with Body or Object Resistance.
