_+ frequently asked questions;
Who and/or what is "Just Add Water" Cosplay?
Just Add Water was a group for four members who frequented to cons. Since the group disbanded due to college and moving, I [ Stephanie ] have taken it over as my own personal cosplay website. The name still stays, because it brings back old memories. :]
Where did you come up with "Just Add Water" Cosplay Group?
Ever seen those packages that say " Just Add Water" and *poof* something is made out of it? Well, that's pretty much the explination.
Do you only do Final Fantasy cosplay?
No! Of course not. Our site happened to be originally based around FFVIII - just because it was luck of the draw. And our first costumes just happened from FFVIII as well.
Do you make your own costumes?
Yep. Aside from large props or something that is massively out of my league I will have it commissioned but I have made all of my costumes aside from my first Selphie costume, which was made by my mother.
Do you cosplay with any other groups or strickly the "Just Add Water" team?
When we were a group we did cosplay mostly by ourselfs and once had a cosplay set up with Craptacular Cosplayers, which had since fallen through. I lately have not done any cosplays myself and probably am sticking out of the 'acting' part of cosplay. I can't write my own crap for beans. I do have on and off cameos with Wasabi Anime though.
Do you make and sell costumes for others?
No. Two reasons why. One: I barely have enough time myself to do others costumes. And two: Buying costumes from someone who made them for you, usually disqualifies you from entering costuming contests. Making your own costumes should be your own self-satisfaction - not someone elses.
Can we use pictures [ cosplay or others ] from your site?
Sure! If you want. Make sure you ask first, and give us credit where it is due. Though most of the pictures are from RisingSun so you can always look their first.
Are you crazy?
Nope! Just a very happy cosplayer!
