Saturday:

After the long hour and a half drive we finally got there. Not exactly sure what to expect. We first arrived in the convention area and went to register - and that when it happened. We were literally hoarded by people wanting to take our pictures.

After about 5 or so we finally got our name tags. We met one of our possible future members Kat - who look awesome in her Tin Nyanko costume. We also looked around to see where everything was. And we were stopped again for pictures.

Then finally we attacked the dealers room which was extremely crowded. Claudia was the only one able to buy something at that moment and then we raced back up to the room. When we decided to come back down we found Justin walking in through the lobby doors - since he came in a different car.

Now that our clan was complete people once again took pictures of us.One of the people who wanted us to take picture must have - no joke - taken at least 10 - 15 of us together and separately in different poses. Oh well. Then Justin ran into the other Zell - some hostility there. o.o;; And I got some pictures of Nessa with the 2 other Rinoa's there!

Then when 1o'clock rolled around, we all skiddled off to go watch Justin play in the gaming tourney. I think the nerves got to Justin when he saw he would be playing on one of the giant screens. We sat in there and watched people play, since the Dreamcast one was first. Stupidly, they only alloted 1 hour for both tourneys - and they only got through the Dreamcast one. Justin never got to play. I think he was happy about that though! After attempting shopping, and a zillion pictures later Justin mom offered to take us to Mickey-D's ^_^ Unfortunately, the MD people weren't to happy with cosplayers and they took us an hour - at least - to give us our food. Plus, they ran out of salads so I got a refund. ^^

When we finally got back to the hotel we left Justin to his hotel room, Nessa, Claudia and myself prepared ourselves for the Pre-judging. We started doing Nessa's hair. I think we inhaled more that we actually put on her hair. Plus, we destroyed 2 hotel towels with the black hair dye. Those, along with the bathtub and the toilet. Eh heh. We fixed up Claudia's hair, and my mom who was in the ajoined room helped out with mine.

When we figured out where the Pre-judged waiting room was, we all took a seat. We met some people in there who were pretty cool. And unfortunately, one of the group's we met had their skit disqualified because it went over the 2 minutes. ;.; But anyways, they played Trigun for us while we waited. And the adult people were really nice when judging our costumes. We ended up being the 10th group to preform, and I think we did well. I know that we all were nervous, but we were stayed cool, calm, and collected.

Getting back to the seating area, we watched the rest of the skits. The camera crew kept on messing up our live feed and so we missed bits and pieces of people's skit. We happened to missed half of Kat's. :( But when it was all over I think everyone was happy to get out of the room. ( There wasn't any air! ) We met Justin in the hall and an announcement said there would be a 25 minute filler before awards were given out. So we just sat and watched "Name That Anime Tune" for awaile then went back upstairs.

When we came back down - minus Justin, they were stalling badly for the judges. Finally awards were given. ( Kudos to Kat who got a Judges Award for her costume ^_~ ) We didn't win anything but that's okay. Except - I have to be a sore loser here - there were 2 big disappointments for me. The Best Skit award. No offence they were good, but I don't think they were THAT good to get the Best Skit. Well the judges must have thought so. I was just a little poopied that we didn't win. We worked so hard... BUT who am I too say who should win or not? That up to the judges * Note: If they happened to be reading this I'M VERY SORRY but that's just how I feel. It's my opinion!>P All the others who won I think deserved it. Definately the best of show, whom Steve Bennett said her name as Patrick when announced to go onstage. I bet he was surprised when it was actually a girl name Patricia :D

Anyways, they all sent us back up stairs to change for the dance party. And we did all change, grabbed Justin and went. Although we did see Steve Bennett with a bunch of groupies find a note on the door that said party in room 623. That would be the party - which was right across from our room - that would keep us up all night long....

It took them forever to finally get it up and going, and all of us waited outside till about 12:40. - That's when they finally opened up. Although I, myself, was tired of waiting outside, I was very impressed with what was going on. ^_^ DDR/ParaPara rave was one of the coolest things at the con! We all finally left around 1:30 because we did get up very early that morning.

When we finally hit the sack by 2:30, the party across the hall was way into action. All we heard was " HAHAHA *door slam* shhhh!!!! *another door slam*" and then more laughing. When the time seemed good when things started to get quiet, we fell asleep quite quickly....

Sunday:

When we woke up about 9, we all ate some breakfast and headed down stairs because Nessa and Claudia had cell painting at 10. We met Justin down there and while Nessa and Claudia were at cell painting, Justin and I shopped.

The dealers room was extremely empty, but not alot of stuff was left. Well books and figure wise. Cd's..that's a different story. I regret not buying that extremely large Selphie figure, but I'll see if maybe House Of Anime still has it. ^^ I unloaded all the rest of my money on cd's and when finally 12 o'clock rolled around we had to leave. But Nessa and Claudia weren't done with their cells. :( Oh well. We chatted with Steve Bennett for a bit - who lost his voice from last night.. I wonder why. We climbed into the car and trekked back home. I believe we all had a great time..
