Baker Publishing
What Are You Selling?
The short answer is that we are selling a JavaScript Application.
It is a
timing system which is part of windows and your browser.
A
s a result of the court case Microsoft vs Sun Microsystems Corp., Baker Publishing's copyright has been acknowledged, and there is now a legal obligation for users of this software to pay for it.
On the next page you can learn

What you get for your money
What it does,
How to get it.
What It Is
  Simply, we are selling a
license agreement to use, and own, a shareware software application written in JavaScript  which is most likely already on your system if you use a computer with an Intel processor, a Windows Operating System, or a browser which connects you to the internet.(World Wide Web).
It evolved from the
BitCom software, which was the original browser (modem software ) for the IBM machine (PC) running the Microsoft or NEC operating system.
Not all the software sold by Microsoft (and NEC in Asia), as part of their Operating System belongs to Microsoft (or NEC). The Unformat, Mirror and Undelete commands which were included with DOS-3 but undocumented until
DOS-5 was released, are owned by Central Point Software Inc. Likewise the Timing System, sets the daylight savings time in your computer's clock, controls the memory allocation of the Java Virtual Machine, gives you scroll bars to manage your browser window, and software which controls some other important functions of your computer.
What will happen if you continue to use your computer without bothering to license it, is that thesetthings will gradually stop working. Your computer loads all its software into virtualmemory for processing, and it is virtual memory that this will happen. If you license your software it will automatically recognise that it is now legal and continue to work as normal. If not you are entitled to a replacement, or a refund.
