Bio of a mad-man
|
|
Confucius says that it's either:
Ian Matuszczyk was born in the Rhondda Valleys in 1979 with a ridiculously long surname. Since then he has worked in and around Cardiff, got lost and ended up in London, deported from there to Belfast and then enrolled in the University of Glamorgan to drive the LRC van part-time. He's also been accused of studying for a BA in Creative and Professional Writing.
Fed up of working for a living he hopes to be a director. Or a script-writer. Journalism has also taken his fancy. Comic-books are not without their charm. But he is still considering the option of being a professional writer. Whichever has the shortest working week.
His portfolio of work has ranged from experimentations of story structure to straight-forward narration, new re-tellings of Christian, Greek and Chinese folklore and strange pieces of work he has dubbed Philos-ories, where he writes in an impenetrable prose and challenges the reader to make sense of it.
He lives at home with his highly trained eating-machines who answer to Tango, Dexter and Smudge (two cats and a hamster respectively). |
