| On March 25, 2001 I will begin my attempt at a thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail. One of the first questions people ask me is, "Why?" "Well," I tell them, "I am going home." It may not be the quickest, easiest, or even cheapest way to go, but, it will most definitely be the most interesting and exciting. |
