DALLAS DRAFT NEWS - January 12
The Dallas Stars have made their final pick of the draft, and a definate tone has been established by the Stars. With a strong emphasis on young talent through the draft, the Stars have established their core for years to come. They have also left themselves with plenty of cap room to sign key free agents, and solidify their core with veteran talent. Said Stars general manager Jason Jones, "Our goal now is to lock up at least one solid goaltender, and focus strongly on our defensive core, with a few top end forwards to fill out the roster!"
