- large wader roost mostly Dunlin (approx. 10000), also small numbers of Oystercatcher (including a partial albino), Ringed Plover, Grey Plover, Redshank, Curlew and Turnstone.  Wildfowl including a few Wigeon and Teal.
- other species here included Dark-bellied Brent, Goldeneye, Red-breasted Merganser, Lapwing, Black-tailed Godwit, and Redshank, as well as several thousand gulls.
- One from 1145-1615 hrs (with marked scapulars and one central tail feather replaced) and another (with unmarked scapulars and noticeably dark tail) from 1440-1540 hrs and again around 1630 hrs when it flew south to roost in Portsmouth Harbour
