| We exited the Thruway at exit 25 (I-88, NY 7- Schenectady/Binghamton) for a short side trip to Howe Caverns in Howes Cave, NY. Here is an example of some of the magnificent scenery along I-88. | Back on I-88, this time Eastbound, approaching it's last Eastbound exit. (Exit 25- NY 7- Rotterdam/Schenectady) At the time (August '03) , NYSDOT was working on the Eastbound lanes and shut them down entirely, diverting Eastbound traffic (us) on to the Westbound lanes. This resulted in only 1 lane of travel for each direction. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
