| View of part of the **huge** Palisades Center Mall in West Nyack, Rockland County, NY (off Thruway Exit 13). This was taken from Southbound I-87/Eastbound I-287, as it approaches the Tappan Zee Bridge. There was a rather large traffic backup which began around Exit 15 on the Thruway and did not end until around Thruway Exit 9 (after the Bridge) in Tarrytown, Westchester County. | ||||||||||||||||||

| Now on the Tappan Zee Bridge itself, we are still moving along at an extremely slow pace towards Tarrytown, Westchester County. In the distance (which is why I took this photo), you can see the hills and mountains of Western Westchester County along the Hudson River at its widest point. | ||||||||||||||||||
