Jaseline Johnson is an International
TV producer having vast international experience producing
television programs and a variety of commercials,
corporate videos etc.
Jaseline first arrived in Asia with her first contract
in Malaysia, and within 6 months she started consulting
and training employees in Kuala Lumpur to produce
international standard programs. She was appointed
Production Manager responsible to solely manage the
whole production for the Commonwealth Games….the
show ended up winning the 1998 Asian Television Award!

This award resulted in her appointment in 1999 with ntv7,
producing Malaysia’s very own controversial Dateline,
which received wide acclaim throughout the international
media such as Asian Wall Street Journal and the Far Eastern
Economic Review. Within her career, she has interviewed
famous artists, as well as controversial newsmakers, politicians,
multinational directors and CEO’s.
Her other consulting contracts include, working as Creative
producer for the Television Corporation of Singapore-
Mediacorp, Astro. On her return to Toronto, she was appointed
as an Associate Producer with the Canadian Broadcasting
Corporation –CBC for Newsworld Business News. After
the CBC, she was once again asked to come back to Singapore
and work at Asia’s largest production facility VHQ
(Video Head Quarters) with the appointment as the International
Business Development Producer.
Born and raised in Toronto, Jaseline arrived in Asia
in 1996. She completed her formal education at the University
of Toronto (Honours B.A.) and is presently completing
her M.A. in International Affairs and Diplomacy.
Jaseline’s overall goal in the television industry
is to give back her global experience and skills. She
hopes to be a positive influence within the broadcasting
industry, in order to enhance and improve the quality
and creativity of international television programs.
