Message To My Family & Friends
(to my mom, dad, sharon, ginger, abbie, the turtle. but most of all, to MY DAVE.)

The day you laid me down to sleep
you prayed to the Lord; my soul to keep
I know you had to send me on my way
but you sent me to a new; better;
and much brighter day
You sent me home; to heaven above
where I'm cradled in God's arms;
covered with His love
I understand what you did; you did out of love
and I'll return that love; from my new home above
My sickness is gone; and I'm free here to roam
I run and play in the meadows; here in my new home
We play here by the Bridge; from morning to night

SUGAR ADOPED 10/28/97 - 10/20/02 Sugar was adopted by Dave when he was away at college. Sadly, her life ended too soon. She was an adventurous cat and loved to go outdoors. We now know, we can never let our cats outdoors again. Her little life ended, tragically, when she was struck by a car. We love and miss this little girl deeply, and learned a very hard lesson.

A SPECIAL ANGEL , OUR CHERISHED BABY. LOVED MORE THAN WORDS CAN SAY. A BLESSED LITTLE COMPANION, WITHIN OUR MINDS AND HEART FOREVER WORDS CANNOT DESCRIBE THE LOVE WE HAD FOR THIS BABY. HIS LOYALTY, WAS BEYOND COMPARE. HE WAS HAPPY AS LONG AS HE WAS NEAR US. HE LOVED TRAVELING IN THE MOTORHOME AND SLEPT CUDDLED IN OUR ARMS. SKIPPY WAS ANOTHER TREASURE,NO MONEY COULD BUY. HE WON OUR HEARTS WITH THAT FIRST MELTING OF OUR HEARTS, WHEN HE LOOKED AT US, WITH THOSE BIG SAD EYES.WE WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU, SKIPPY

Lars was the sweetest, friendliest, rottweiler possible. He was immersed with lots of love and grew up to be so sweet and gentle. Everyone he met, was impressed with his great personality. He was our treasure like no other. Dave taught him discipline, with love.He was hugged everyday,and loved to give kisses. How good it felt to hug him and give him kisses back. He proved himself to be gentle and loving, yet we know he would protect us if needed. Thanks to The Dupage Animal Hospital for taking the above photo. They too let us know, how very good Lars was, and were very kind to him and us.
We were so lucky to have a rottweiler that special. He will be missed greatly, by all that knew him.
We miss our baby Lars. We will LOVE him, forever.

This is Abbie, our feral cat. Abbie,is a special kitty, who because she would have been a wild cat outdoors, has to really love you, to let you get close to her. . She usually kept out of Lars' way. But she loved to cuddle with him at night, and give him little kisses on his head. Lars grew on her too.

Our happy curious Ginger, in the basket. She loved to sleep next to Lars, and had no fear of his size. She gives us lots of laughter every day. We adopted her with our other little cat Abbie. These two are a joy to have.

We are lucky to still have two cats at home-Adopted together a few years ago.
