Charter 99: A Charter For Global Democracy, has already been signed by 56 of the world's most influential nations. The principles of this Charter will come into force everywhere following the Millennium Assembly planned for this September in New York. (World Net Daily, January 27, 2000)

Principle#1 - calls for the consolidation of all international agencies under the direct authority of the United Nations.
Principle#2 - Calls for the regulation by the U.N. of all transnational corporations and financial institutions, requiring an international code of conduct concerning evironmental and labour standards.
Principle#3 - Demands an independent source of revenue for the U.N. such as the "Tobin Tax" or taxes on aircraft/ shipping fuels, and licensing the use of the global commons, defined as, "outerspace, the atmosphere, non-territorial seas, and the related environment that supports human life."
Principle#4 - Eliminates the veto power and permanent member status of the security council.
Principle#5 - Authorizes a U.N. standing army.
Principle#6 - Requires U.N. registration of all arms and the reduction of all national armies as part of a multilateral global security system under the authority of the U.N.
Principle#7 - Requires individual and national compliance with all U.N. human rights treaties and declarations.
