Like OMG Jasie Lmao. J00 4R3 T3H B345T! LOL TO THE FIFTH POWERDDFD! Oh...Well, i think i wrote a real weird letter to you a while back about Michael Jackson or something, and i was real weirded out reading that on your site, because I have NO memory of writing that letter...but it was from my name. I'm pretty sure I was drunk or high, but that is besides the point. How long do you plan to keep this site, and are you actually going to accomplish anything with it? SHOO WOP! Johnny Liebs Best. Email. Ever.
Wednesday, July 23rd, 2003 Well, it's finally happened. After four years, my beloved IBM Aptiva has pretty much seen it's last days. Whether this horrible turn of events can be attributed to a worn out hard drive, an insidious virus, or a pack of computer-molesting gremlins has yet to be determined. Regardless of who or what is responsible, I think it's safe to say that I'm thoroughly pissed. Now I'm reduced to updating my site and surfing the internet on my girlfriend's computer. That wouldn't be so bad, but her monitor -her whole computer desk, in fact- is covered with Sanrio paraphernalia. Gone are the days when I could glance up to the top of my computer monitor and take solace in the stoic presense of my little pewter Morrowind Ordinator figurine. Now my wandering gaze is met by the blank stares of dozens of Hello Kitty stickers, all intent on reading the darkest secrets of my soul, and then driving me mad. Or something like that. So what's preventing me from buying a swiss army knife and commiting seppuku while some depressingly lame emo song plays in the background? One word: Gamecube. The folks at Nintendo have managed at long last to restore my previously-wavering faith in their ability to release a system that doesn't suck gorilla testicles. Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker has pretty much destroyed my normal sleep routine; I was up until 7 o'clock this morning working my way through Dragon Roost Cavern, only to shut my Gamecube off right after defeating the dungeon boss, without bothering to save. Why, you ask? Because this game is so fucking great that I have to experience everything in it at least twice. The dungeon designs are nothing short of astounding thus far, the combat is simply amazing, and hell, I'm even becoming a serious fan of the new, "cartoonier" look that the developers aimed for with this outing. Kudos, Nintedo. You've officially rocked my boxers. |
