| Meet Yigal Horowitz (left) who is the Vet of the Safari Park which is in Ramat Gan near Tel Aviv, or actually a suburb of Tel Aviv. He has been a vet there for I think the last 15 Years. He has a special affection for the Birds of prey and so was full of information on these creatures. He is married with 2 small children and his wife also works at the Zoo as the PR spokeswoman for them | ||||||||||||||||||||||

| The Zoo was founded in 1973 and was moved to Ramat Gan in the 80's, where they began to develope it as a Safari Park and not just a Zoo section they are developing open area for most of the animals as they are able to now. It has a Safari Park area that you drive through and then they also have the Zoo section with is walk through. | ||||||||||||||||||||||

| We were shown the operating room (left), some of the new hospital cages being made and some that are finished with patients in already and also got to see a bat being hand fed by someone we dubbed Batman.
