Reunited! "Accentuate The Positive" reconnected Jarreau with Tommy LiPuma, who produced "Glow " and "Look to the Rainbow", and Al Schmitt, producer of his 1975 debut "We Got By". This time around LiPuma produced and Schmitt is the engineer. From L: LiPuma, Jarreau, Schmitt

Givin' It Up Gets 2 out of 3

Three songs from Givin' It Up were nominated for Grammys. Two of them won in their Categories - "Mornin'" as Best Pop Instrumental Performance and "God Bless The Child" featuring Jill Scott won Best Traditional R&B Vocal Performance.

This was an incredible album that flew under the radar mostly due to timing, with Verve about to bail out on most of their jazzers,  and a lot of artists not comfortable with internet marketing back in the old days. Like 3 years ago...
Now that he's back in the spotlight with the new release go back and grab this one. It's magical
