| And now for those all important characters...Where would the film be without them? And Im not talking about Sarah or Jareth; you can go find them in THE CHARACTERS section. No, no, no. Im talking about all those other characters that make Labyrinth Labyrinth. Take Sarahs parents for example. First, the dad. How rubbish is he? Hes in the film for about ten minutes, and its obvious hes not the sharpest tool in the box. Then theres her biological mother who ran off to become an actress, and finally theres the wicked stepmother. So why are these seemingly unimportant characters so, well, important? Well, without them, Sarah would just be an annoyingly typical teenager who goes off in a humph about everything and nothing. At least she does have some real issues. Granted, she doesnt seem to actually worry about the important ones, and instead concentrates on the fact that, shock horror, her baby brother is playing with her teddy bear, but there are reasons for her teenageness. Thus is the importance of Sarahs parents. | ||||||||||
