I was born on Nov. 11, 1979 in Phoenix Arizona. I was the baby out of 5 kids (one brother and 3 sisters) and the last of the family. I was born in a coma and not too healthy. My grandpa Bodine was called over to help in giving me a blessing to survive. It was most likely the last priesthood ordinance my grandfather did.

I came home and grew up pretty healthy after that in my house in Phoenix until I reached the age of 6. My parents decided to go to Mesa, where there were better neighborhoods for raising children. I lived on Hope Street in Mesa the rest of the time I grew up. I enjoyed playing with my friends, and watching TV and playing with guns, the usual kid stuff.

At 14 I got my first job selling news paper subscriptions door to door. I got tired of that and moved on to work at Harkins Theaters at 16. For that year and a half, I didn't have to pay to see any movies. I moved on to a job for Pizza Hut at 17 and started to deliver at 18. At the same time I became interested in radio broadcasting and in my senior year took a course in it at East Valley Institute Of Technology. I obtained a job at Newsradio 910 KFYI until I had to quit both Pizza Hut and KFYI to serve my mission for The Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter-day Saints.

I served my mission in Hawaii. The Hawaii Honolulu Mission covers all of the Hawaiian islands and Christmas Island. I served from Dec 1998 to Dec 2000. I served in Pahoa outside of Hilo on the Big Island, then Kahalu'u out side of Kaneohe on Oahu. Then I was in Auwaiolimu up in Paoua Valley in Honolulu and was there for the great fireworks at the changing of the new millennium. I went to Moloka'i next and loved the time there, covering the whole island with my companion including the famous leper colony Kalaupapa. Finally, I finished in Hale'iwa on the North Shore of Ohau.

I went home and got a job at KFYI again, only this time it was at 550AM and I was a full time technical director and producer. I worked on Talk Brew, on Saturday, as well as the day time programing from 8am (Barry Young) to 4pm (Bruce Jacobs). I also took a job as a phone screener and back up technician for WestStar Talk Radio Network. I worked mainly on The Kim Kommando Show, a show syndicated across the globe on over 400 stations. I left Hawaii for a summer and resumed work at WestStar as the assistant digital editor for Goddards Gold, The 70's With Steve Goddard and Quiet Music. To see more of my work history, see my Resume.

I quit it all to go to school full time and advance my career and marital status (single). I am now a student at BYU-Hawaii and loving every minuet of it. I am currently a major of Information Systems and will likely minor in Theatre. When I graduate, I plan to return to radio and make a real name for myself. You can say you knew me when...
