Use these steps to draw the head at different angles. You must keep the face proportion the same or the drawing will not look detailed.
The first step to drawing the head is to make a simple circle; that's all, nothing else.....Stop drawing now!
Alright, now add in the jaw; make sure it is only half the length of the skull. Choose how pointy the chin is going to be because that will decide the character's age (pointy=young, broad=old). Add in the ear; it goes right behind the jaw.
Draw a line up the center of the head and a line across; this determines the point of direction that the character is looking at. Place eyes on the sides of the vertical line. Remember to keep them one eye-length apart.
Erase the horizontal and vertical lines. Draw in the nose and the mouth. Fill in a little detail for the eyes. *If you plan to draw hair that goes over the character's eyes, you might want to save adding detail to the eyes for later.
Draw the outline of the hair and continue adding detail to the other facial features. Draw in the lines in the ear. Don't forget the eyebrows!
Make the finishing touches- highlights in the hair, shading, scars (optional)- and correct any mistakes you may have made.
