| A Keen Martial Artist.... Jaqualin has been studying the Arts for over two years now. She finds that Kung-Fu is not only good for fitness but also good for the spirit and health at the same time. Kung-Fu is for everybody and anybody who has the nature to learn and be taught. It is dates back to Shaolin where the monks used Martial Arts to stop them falling asleep while meditating...{it's true}..And it's also a form of self defence. Lau-gar is for anyone and it suits everyone who is either in to competition fighting, the spiritual side, or self defence. Jaqualin is mainly into the spiritual and self defence side. Although she has been in competition but has not yet won a fight. "Nah, never won a fight yet. But it isn't all about winning. Although I do like to win. But the main aspect of competition is taking part. If you win, YOU WIN If you don't you haven't really lost, Right?.....It's all about trying one's best and if you try your best rather than say don't want to even try. Then you have lost. But trying and losing is better than not trying at all. Well that is my philosophy." She smiles.......:-) |
