| Jaqualin Dante was born in the early hours of the morning in a Fife hospital. Born with an older sister and a younger soon to follow. Therefore being the middle child while growing up in her youth. At only 7 years old she got her first taste of acting at her Primary School. Even at that given time Jaqualin had no idea of what the future had in store for her. Like any other young girl at the time she had her little dreams. |
| It wasnt until she eventually left her old school and began her studies at her High school that she soon realised that she had a splendid talent for writing stories. When in English class she swore that without pictures to help her along she couldn't write a single word. But that was a long time ago. She gradually got writing her amazing stories without the need for pictures and even her tutor and family were impressed by her. But she never expected that this new found talent she had dicovered would be read and viewed by us the public and audiences of her tales. |
| Leaving school at the grand young age of sweet sixteen in 89. She ventured into her first job at a candle making firm. Where she carved and made spectacular candles to be sold in high street stores. But wanting the need for something more she wasn't happy there. It wasn't until a chance meeting however. "FATE" as she called it! She met a theater director who then got her into her first ever acting job at Buckhaven Theater. She then began her new found career as a member of the local Community Arts Team working on and behind the scenes . With her 1st acting part in the pantomime "Alladin" as a member of the Chorus. She continued to act in many productions from then on going on tour with the community arts team doing various productions During her time there Jaqualin went on various courses including a Film Making Course and Video Production Course at Telford College. Learning infront of and behind Camera techniques. |
| The company however closed it's doors for good which left Jaqualin Unemployed. But her plan was to go to college to further her chosen career. She chose to study at Glenrothes College. Where she studied Media and Communication the course included creative writing, acting - drama, radio broadcasting and other media related studies. After leaving there Jaqualin took odd jobs here and there working as a factory operative before setting her sights on Edinburgh Acting School where she trained professionaly as an Actress. She recalls, E.A.S was fantastic everybody there was excellent company and Anna Tinline was a great teacher of the dramatic Arts we all had a great time there and got on so well as a class and team. There were so many potential actors in the class and they all had this vast amount of talent. I would recomomend EAS to everyone. |
