Welcome to the January Jewels Webring!


How to Join

The January Jewels webring was created in order to unite all of our members that have family or baby websites. We all were members of the January 2001 Expecting Club at Parentsplace and since have had our babies. Some were born in November, December, January & February but ALL of them are consider January Jewels. So Please apply even if your baby was not born in January.

  1. Fill out the membership form to register your site. This will add your site to the queue, which is a list of sites waiting to be added to the ring.
  2. You will receive an email almost immediately with the instructions and proper ring code for your site. Your site will remain in the queue until the ringmaster adds you to the ring.
  3. In order to be added, you must add the ring code (see an example of a functioning ring navigation fragment below) to your site within 7 days of application.
  4. Email the ringmaster that you are ready to be added. I will check your site to be sure that the code has been added properly , and will then add you to the ring.

You will be given only 7 days to add this code. Sites that remain in the queue for longer than 7 days will be removed, and will have to reapply---so please add this code to your site as soon as you receive it!

Ground Rules:
  1. The site should have good content and be easy to read. Your Page must include either family, children or baby pictures.
  2. There cannot be any broken links or graphics on your pages.
  3. There must be no adult material (i.e. pornography, profanity, etc.) or promotion of illegal activities anywhere on your site, including links to other sites
  4. The code for the ring must be placed on the page whose URL you submit

Any sites that break these rules will be denied into the webring or deleted from it.

Step 2 - Download the January Jewels Webring Graphic


Copy the January Jewels Webring graphic to your drive by pointing your cursor at the image, right clicking, and saving the file to your own hard drive. Once you have done this, remember to upload the image file to your own server.

Step 3 - Paste the HTML fragment you receive from us by email into your document, in the position you want it to appear on your page. Changes to background colour etc, should not be necessary, please do NOT make changes to the code fragment without checking with the Ringmaster

Step 4 - Upload the logo file AND your edited page to your server.
