Welcome
to the month of May, JD fans! And a
special Happy Mothers Day Greeting to all JD fans who are
mothers :-) Wow, lots of
wild things happening with Leo on the show, huh? Well, we had to
know that our boy
wasnt destined for marriage. If you are a Leo/Greenlee fan, I
am sure you are
disappointed with what happened Friday but look at it this way: what
happens when a couple
gets married? Theyre HAPPY! And when a couple is blissfully
happy its, well,
boring and the writers know this. Leo and Greenlee were just too
happy to even be
believed, and dang it if Leos world didnt come crashing
down around him with
the arrival of Katerina, the woman from his past! Now THIS certainly
makes things a little
more interesting ... We know Leo and Greenlee will eventually be
together ... or do we?
Will she find comfort in the arms of Jake? Will Leo go back to his
old ways? Tune in to
the show in the coming weeks to see where all of this leads!
And speaking of Fridays show, did we get a good performance
from Josh or what? I
mean they are always good but Friday ... WHEW! Its no wonder
hes been
nominated for an Emmy with shows like that :-) The Emmys are less
than a week away now. Is
everyone getting excited and anxious? And riding on the heels of the
Emmy nomination for
Best Supporting Actor has been Joshs nomination for the Soap
Opera Digest Award for
Outstanding Younger Lead Actor! You are able to vote in the SOD
awards online at www.soapawards.about.com so if you
get a free minute, stop by and give them your .02 on who you think
should win in each of
the categories. The date the SOD Awards air has yet to be determined
but as soon as it is
announced, Im sure it will be in the magazine and online so
watch for more info on
that in the coming weeks. |
My next
feature here at JD.com will be one
where I hope there will be a lot of fan participation! As good an
actor as we all know
Josh is, one can only speculate that one day he will move on to
prime time TV or major
motion pictures. For the purposes of the next feature article,
lets just say Josh
has just been picked to star as the lead in a major motion picture
and its a remake
of a previously successful film. What film and character would YOU
choose for him to play?
I know there are a lot of movie buffs out there and I expect to hear
from all of you! It
can be a classic movie from the days of old or something within the
last 20 years. YOU
decide. Do you think hed be better off playing a bad guy, say
like the character Max
Cady (portrayed by the late Robert Mitchum) in Cape Fear? Or
is the role of Atticus
Finch (portrayed by Gregory Peck) in To Kill A Mockingbird
one in which you could
see Josh stretch his acting wings? The choices are endless! Make
sure to email your
responses to me at [email protected] no later
than May 26th. The answers will be posted here. Make sure to include
not only the name of
the character he should play in and what movie, but exactly why you
think such a role
would fit him.
Hope everyone out there has a wonderful week and dont forget
to tune in to NBC
Friday the 18th for the Daytime Emmy Awards, where Josh will appear
as both a presenter
and nominee!!
That's my .02. Now I'd like to hear from YOU!
Bye for now!
Janny
