Day 10. 34% Accuracy.

Yep, I had 34% accuracy battling the baddies of Area 51. I wish I could work on that without the need of quarter rolls.

The skating rink was cool. A very cool concept. It could do with some refining, but it could be a very cool hangout. Cool, evidently.

Oh, another note . . . I must remember that November 5th is Andy Warhol's A day. Thank you.

Day 9. Stuffed Up Nose.

I guess it's a sign that I'm getting better. To-day my nose is all stuffed up. But I am taking antibiotics and I will keep taking the needed amount for ten days. Because that's what you're supposed to do.

I got more auditions to-day! They are terrific. But I am getting worried because it's going to be difficult to find enough guys and to find someone to play the mother. Oh well, I'll get 'em somehow.

We moved in a fouton to-day. It is so very comfortable; I love foutons.

We watched "Eating Pattern," the third LEXX movie.

Congrats to Zavi that her Springer blog was mentioned in Entertainment Weekly!! It was in the very same paragraph that mentions Neil Gaiman's blog. And he has read that article. It's so fantastic!

Day 8. Audition Lines are Flying In.

Yay! I posted auditions and people are sending me lines. Only envy.nu is down now, so I am worried. I want to check my new E-mail address and see if people have sent me more.

We finished "Supernova" (yaay, Tim Curry as Poetman!) and "I Shot Andy Warhol" (Valerie Solanas was a lunatic) and we watched "Kalifornia" (Michelle Forbes has groovy hair).

We saw some FBI helicoptors or something. They were totally unmarked. One flew by in one direction, then came another from another direction, flying lower down.

Back in Oregon, they had huge rainstorms today. It was grand. I hope it put out their forest fires. I hope it rains when we are there. I hope it isn't too hot, at least.

Day 7. Videos and Even More Discordian Games.

I finished up almost all the work I can do on my production site for now. Now I guess I'm ready to post audition notices, but for some reason the thought makes me quite nervous. Nrrg. I hope I find people for it.

To-day we made some videos of just groovin'. Zavi spray painted a bookshelf silver and dyed Remy's hair purple and blue and he is very pretty.

We watched the first half of "I Shot Andy Warhol". We need to finish it and "Supernova".

We are playing with people again on IRC, making up identities and it's fun.

Day 6. Discordian Games.

Houston lost. I won't talk more of it.

We made pizza to-day. Yum! Then we watched Chocolat, which was quite a cool movie except for all of the talking about what's right and wrong according to what God approves of. I mean, to me, that is what taking the Lord's name in vain means . . . using it to say, for instance, that chocolate is evil.

I worked on my new production site.

Zavi and I are now playing a fun Discordian game on IRC and it is enormously entertaining. The idea was to get into an argument about something frivilous and see who else we could get to chose a side. Once they did, we both had to declare that they were sunk. Well, since "SUNK" would have been too obvious, in the first round we said "she" and in the second "hot". They were more inconspicuous. Then, once we declared them sunk, we were to ignore them for the duration of the argument. I won't mention details because I don't want anybody to know we did this in case we want to use our characters again. Anyway, it was fun, and I'm glad to have it logged.

Day 5. In Which We Make Indian Food!

And it turned out good, too! I'm so amazed that cooking can be this easy. We downloaded some recipes (Zavi has more about them) and just made them. It was so much fun and so yummy. Whoohoo!

Today I watched the Liberty lose (aww) and the Monarchs win (yaay). And I worked on my voice acting resume, re-learning some HTML and such. Then we made dinner and watched the first half of "Supernova" with Tim Curry in it! He's great. And then we watched a funny guy talking about youth and aging, but it's hard to describe him. Now we're watching Xena.

Day 4. Cats, Cody, and Collin.

(Because they all begin with a "C".)

Zavi's cats are being very sweet to me, lately. I love that :)

Today we went to a teeny Christian music festival thingy going on nearby. We arrived halfway through and only saw the last two bands, Push and Overglow, . They both rocked. And they're local bands! I need to remember to keep informed about things like that going on in Portland, because I'd forgotten how much I like those things.

We were kind of chilling through the Push concert, then we went back to find out how we could buy a CD. We did, and Zavi had them sign it. Oh, Collin was the lead singer and was nice.

And then came Overglow, and they were throwing stickers around to get people to come up to the stage, so Zavi and I went up there after a few songs and danced around with a guy who seemed to be alone and was wearing a yellow "Security" shirt which he bought at Wal-Mart and I really want one of those. We went up really close to the speakers and peered under the stage with the flashlight and Zavi tossed her hat to the lead singer (see more) and after he tossed it back, we tossed it between ourselves and the group of five or six guys who were really spazzing to the music all funnly. And we tossed around the acrylic ball, which Zavi also contact-juggled, to the amazement of those watching. Then we hung out for awhile and talked to Cody, the Wal-Mart security guy, who has a friend who also does radio dramas. We gave him the URL of Risorgimento (no, there still isn't anything there) and a Mango Fruity Gel, which he tried to put in his pocket and not eat.

A picture of me and Cody.

Then we went to Fazoli's, a fast food Italian place, and it was yummy, and we took Andy in.

To-day we watched the end of "I Worship His Shadow" (Kai: "I'm dead. I have no future.") (He also admits that "The dead are weird.) And we watched Battle-Bots, which I'd never seen but was really cool--fighting robots. Only I like robots, so it's hard to see them get beat up. And we watched "The Naked Chef," and Jamie Oliver was so cool, and I wish I could talk and cook like him.

And then I check and find out that the L.A. Sparks beat the Houston Comets in their first game of the first round of the playoffs, and I get very sad. Go Comets! Go Monarchs! Go Liberty!!
