My first cockatiel was a tame lutino I got from my collague because she had breathing problems and was obliged to sell all her birds. ( we also got Cora the amazon from her)
This was about 10 years ago and this is where my cockatiel-fever started ! We now have 3 whites, lutinos, cinamon pearled hens, 3 wildcoloured males, two lutino-pieds, one whiteface male and female, and a few white faced pearld ones. When I am typing this webpage it s very busy here !. Two blocks with each 5 chicks in it and 8 flown out babies in separate cages.
Our son tamed one of my self bred wildcoloured males and he is our company now in the living room together with a lutino female I (background two pied babies born july2005) This male cockatiel calles FAITH stiil in our aviary and survived 3 hens, he had in total 5 chicks and is a bachelor now.
