| Perform any operations inside parentheses, or above or below the fraction bar. | ||

| Perform all multiplication and division from left to right. | ||
| Perform all addition and subtraction from left to right. |
The Memory Aides spell P E M D A S.
Just remember that even though A comes before S in PEMDAS, they still must be done from left to right.
