Just causing more despair
Don't...listen with ears that cannot hear
The voice of a desperate cry
Don't... walk away from one in need
Helping is always worth a try
Don't...speak with lips that know not truth
Or show yourself a liar
Don't...hurt another by your words
For gossip spreads like fire....
Or give a radiant smile
To listen or to share a need
When you're hurting all the while
To feed the hungry
Lead the lost
Protect the helpless
At all costs
To create warmth
Where there is cold
Help a weaker faith
Be strong and bold
To be kind, true and honest
And not to turn away
When it's hard to walk with Jesus
He will help you find a way...
