For a Great Number Of Years Jaguars have been hunted down throughout the world for their coats. Hunters, found the need to stalk them for the demanding popularity of Jaguar Fur. For a while, the number of decreasing jaguars were dangersouly high. In 1960 though laws were passed and jaguar hunting was considred a crime. Even though there isn't a big demand for pelts anymore, Jaguar hunting is still a threat. Poachers still remain to be a jaguar's worst enemy. A newer Problem is the dissaperining forest area in South America. Soon, if something is not done, the only remaining Jaguars will live in zoos. |
