| Congratulations to our 2008 Graduates, Allison Johnson & Kristina Wanous. Both were Valedictorians; Congratulations to our 2009 Graduates, Stephanie Holtorf (Salutatorian), & Tracey Engesser. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Our dance family stems from Jane, Jane's sister, daughter and now granddaughters! We have expanded to have faculty now having their children in our program. Leslie has a daughter named Emma, she is now taking classes! Cara's daughter Jacy is now 8 and this is her 5th year of dance. If you would like to be a part of our TAYLOR dance family, you can call Jane at (507) 582-7884 (local for Austin), or phone Natalie at (507) 440-4713. Jane's first dance instructor is back in town and still stops in to visit and share with the students her memories of studying with the Bolshoi Ballet! Nita Borchardt from the Radio City Rockettes stopped in and gave a workshop in the past. All of Jane's staff (Ms. Natalie, Ms. Cara and Ms. Leslie) hold a BS and AA Degree from Universities/Colleges. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| At the Jane Taylor Academy of Dance, our goal with our students is to instill a love of learning dance, and pride in their accomplishments. We enjoy a close relationship with the Faculty and the families of those in our Academy, and Instructors are available to meet with parents. Long term goals of our alumni are often accomplished, many of our students have been granted full college scholarships to prestigious Universities and have or are currently pursuing advanced degrees, including one of our students being awarded the 'Gus Giordano Scholarship Award', our student was selected by Gus himself! | Above: Natalie, Megan and Betsy prepare for competition! Currently both Megan and Betsy are finishing/finished college, Megan had a internship in Las Vegas, she is pursing her PhD, (Betsy studied in Europe for awhile and loved it!) and we love to hear their exciting updates. Betsy is now working at APPLE Corp. in California. Betsy was our Clara in many of our Nutcrackers! We are so proud of you girls! College was one of Natalie's favorite experiences in life and she was listed as the 2005 Featured Former Student of MSU. Sam Payne received a scholarship and is attending OCU and pursuing dance under the direction of former Bolshoi dancer Jo Rowan. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| We renovated in the winter of 2007 and we now have a full oak floor throughout the studio and into the dressing rooms. We also have renovated the bathroom area. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Our past student, Angela McDermott, was Miss Minnesota in 2008, she competed in the Miss America Pageant in Las Vegas. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
