Kalbarri Day 1
Page 1
Well, today we left Perth for Kalbarri.  First time either of us have been that way - well, we have been to Monkey Mia and Denham - separate trips, tho.  Never been to Kalbarri, tho.

From what we've heard, Kalbarri is a nice fishing town with lots of flora and gorges to look at.

Tom at work (you know who you are) recommended Finlay's Seafood BBQ, so we have to go there, too.  :)
It's a cloudy day, quite ominous, but I have hopes it will fine up as we go.  It's a long time since either of us have spent time out of Perth, so it should be nice and relaxing.  We've got the fishing gear, but if we don't fish I won't mind.  I've heard the river holds quite a variety of fish, including taylor, so it should be fun.
I managed to get a few pikkies on the way up, but it was too hard to use the video cam.  The photos are Upper Swan to the upper left and Bullsbrook to the lower left - see?  Country road at Bullsbrook!  :))

Apparently, as we go, we'll be moving into the Bassendean Dune area (they're really old dunes that plants grow on now) and I could see where the wind has shaped them.  No, didn't get pikkies of them.
We had planned to stop at Cataby, but Stu, being the economic driver he is - LOOOVE cruise control for fuel efficiency - decided Badgingarra would do.
But, Eneabba was where we stopped.  Great fuel efficiency!

Let's see, we started at 6:13am and we reached Eneabba at about 9:30am doing roughly 110kmh most of the way.  Hmm.  That makes it about 350ks north of Perth.  Yeah, go on, be pedantic!
Argh!  Page 2 of Day 1.....!
