You were the loner
We tried so hard to win.
You were our only
tortie kitten.

You thought that Fonzi
Was your Mama too.
Sweet little Sammi,
If you only knew...

How much we loved you
And how hard we tried
To win your affection,
But you had your pride.

It took us 2 years,
Or maybe more,
But then you decided,
To let us in your door.

I always promised
that I'd never forget
How you showed me your belly
When you rolled on the bed.

That meant so much to me
Way back when.
For I'd never had
My own kitten...

'Til you and your sisters
Entered my life.
Now you're all gone,
And that cuts, like a knife.

You were the last one
To leave us, Sammi.
I know how you missed
Mama, GiGi, and Lilli.

I hope you're together,
And happy again.
I'll always miss you,
