For you we bring this hug
When your heartstrings begin to tug,
So the pain you feel today
May be eased in some small way,
By the love and understanding from all on the board
From the strength we receive when looking heaven toward.
Biffy, the one known for spunk and soft green eyes
Both a 'little trooper' and a lover, to no one's surprise,
No matter how many names were given to the Biffster,
there was no need to enhance,
For the Bifmeister alone is the one known
for doing the 'chicken dance.
Mr. Fluffy, the one with the tennis ball,
Wherever he went, he was loved by all,
Mr. Fluffy, with his gorgeous mane,
With the promise of eternal life,
Believe you will all be together once again.
Furry little Angel that was,
Blew some air through my thread,
Slipped my shuttle ahead,
For my fingers should fly
and make
A Cat tatted
for Jeff and Di
Much research into cures, vets old and new
will join in hopes of making kitty well;
with chemo, pills, theyll even give Sub-Q,
and people tuna with its fishy smell.
Sometimes we find that God has other plans;
He needs this kitty to hold in His hands.
Forever did not last quite long enough;
for she got sick and not much could be done.
This little cat, so brave and very tough,
tried hard to fight, but then the sickness won.
And tears poured down; kind hearts broken anew;
This grief is shared; its all that I can do.
But you've carved into my deepest heart
the image of your sweet face,
the joy you took from every day,
your strength, spirit and grace.
The love you brought to Jeff and Di
this Acme board will keep
forever in our souls and minds
you touched us all: we weep.
Good bye, Mr Fluffy, lovely boy,
to Rainbow Bridge you've gone
to play and romp with other cats
who meet us when our life's done.
And when your health was in its long decline,
both Jeff and Di were always by your side;
they loved you well and never did resign
from treatments, vet trips; chicken was supplied
whenever you did not much care to dine.
You took your chemo; you were very brave.
You stole the hearts that they so freely gave.
I cannot hope to understand;
I cannot bear to share;
but if you want to hold my hand,
please know that I am there.
My tears are not as harsh as yours;
they do not shred my soul;
but they do flow freely down my face:
I want so to make them whole.
I light a candle in my heart
and fan its flickering flame;
I offer to you every part
of me that eases pain.
I hold you tightly as I might;
I wipe your every tear;
I give anything to make things right,
but I only have a prayer.
How comforting to know that he will not be all alone;
That he will have good company when he sets out for home.
For Mr. Fluffy will be there, Biffy and Kelli, too;
And someday at the Rainbow Bridge they'll all greet me and you.
We'll cross that bridge together as the families we have been
And God will smile upon us all and welcome us right in.
For He will see we gave our love to His gifts from above,
I know God has a special place for those who shared His love.
Three cats found a home
Never to roam
Til God called them home.
They roam at home,
Out of the corner of my eye
I see them still.
"We love you! We love YOU!" in unison!
Every soul aboard has a message! Hark!
It's our aim to please,
to comfort and ease,
yes, with each and every hug, purr and bark!
Though when we arrive, we may be swaying,
with big silly grins and googlely eyes!
Some may be sleeping,
with one eye peeping.
All hoping you're IN-LOVE with our SURPRISE!!!!
Other kitties were playing,
thoughts they didn't know even by praying,
Laps to sit in, things to climb,
what a life it was, sooo sublime.
Sometimes the only thing they feared,
was gong to that place, it made their eyes tear.
Pushed and prodded just to check
making certain that all was not a wreck.
Each time that they passed all gave a sigh of relief
and everyone played, no thoughts of grief.
Until that day that the doctor did find
that not feeling good was not really fine.
It came to attention with a loud bang,
a grip in the stomach and each heart went clang.
They debated and decided to try all they could
with prayers from their friends from all neighborhoods.
More love, special food and mean tasting medicine,
treatments and pushing and pictures and testin
Drawing of blood and temperature taking
Each little cat and its owners were quaking.
They sought out the best and the best is what they got -
the doctors, love, advice and prayers from the lot.
They struggled, they triumphed, they each were a sport
but in the back of our minds there was a sad scary thought.
The battle was fierce and it went on and on,
exhausting them all, but love made them strong,
And then as the dawn of thought rose
the sadness spread, filled the hearts of all those -
The friends and the family who all showed concern,
prayed for the best and didnt allow the worst to discern:
and then came a day when Jeff and Di knew;
they never thought they would know, but in their heart they knew
There was sadness and tears and hearts cried out -
Who could replace that special kit they could not live without?
As the battles raged on, another cat took their attention,
so more than one cat was getting treatment perfection.
Time went on: and in two years three were gone.
Hearts already broken were shattered again.
No one understands how this could have happened
with such love and caring from two special friends.
It built to a fever as the last one was gone,
helped over the bridge with tears and hearts song.
The sound of the song was a sob and a scream,
as tears and pain ripped Jeff, Diane and the ACME team.
All was quiet and silently tears slipped down our faces;
pain for Jeff, Di and Acme friends, we wanted erased.
We couldnt imagine, oh what could we do;
our own hearts were broken for theirs and ours too.
Our love never waivers; and another cat will be held.
We know out babies are with God and all well,
Our hearts ache and we miss them -
how in the world could it happen to lose them?
So early, so young and with treatment perfection,
but God wanted them more, they were his selection.
We honor them in all of our hearts every day,
knowing when we see them again, they will stay.
For Jeff and Diane in Memory of three special cats who are gone too soon
Knowing the love and pain you feel is three fold. We are try to help move forward into light and peace of heart. Time is a gift from God to help heal us all. I pray that the grief diminishes as you continue to love cats and bring them into your heart and home.
Every time you think or say the name of the one you miss, you give them honor.

stars are there for a reason
So you must follow them
you have no choice
You spent your time here learning
for that was your purpose here
You come here for a reason
So you must make it your home
you have no choice
You left this world one day
for that was your destiny
You must go there for a reason
you have no choice
You changed lives for the better
for that was your free will
You never needed a reason
It was all your choice
Most of us would only see
some trash beneath a car
As the ignorant would call it
A worthless paper star
As you learned and grew in life
You always kept your way
Of loving all no matter what
and living day by day
You still miss your loved ones
and know how they must feel
but tommorrow's stars aren't paper
tomorrow's stars are real
