My GiGi

I'll never know what happened to
My sweet little GiGi.
She died one summer's evening,
So very suddenly.

Daddy found you lying there
In stillness on the floor.
What happened to my pretty girl...
We'll never be quite sure.

It's been 10 years now since you left,
And I still wonder why
Such a sweet little orange girl
Had to leave, and had to die.

I felt your love when you left,
Like a wave come over me.
I've never felt like that before...
I felt you leave, GiGi.

I know that it was just your way
Of telling me Good-bye.
I miss you so, and hope you know
I'll always wonder WHY??

Why?

A wave of love swept over me
On the night you died.
I didn't under stand it all
And I must confide...

That it's been 10 years since that night
And it still haunts me so
What happened to you GiGi?
I guess I'll never know.

I'll have to live with questions,
That will have no reply.
And I'll always wonder
Why did my GiGi die...
