That you were such a happy cat,
Just a little shy.
So we just knew that with you
We really had to try...
To take things a little slower
...to respect your space.
To talk a little lower,
And not get "in your face".
Pilling you was something
Unforgetable to me.
How you'd "hippity-hop" away
Was quite a sight to see!
When you became diabetic,
I was so afraid,
We'd never regulate you right...
But you were always great.
You let us test you everyday.
You'd never even hide.
You came along way pretty girl,
You took it all in stride.
We had such a routine with you.
And you calmed all my fears.
Those shots became a way of life,
For over 7 years.
We stayed with you, when you went blind.
We never left your side.
You took it all with dignity,
Until the day you died.
We're so proud of you Mama.
And I hope you know,
We're so glad you were in our life,
And so sad you had to go...
