Help Stop Animal Abuse

Animal abuse is a serious crime! But unfortunately it is not always treated that way in the eyes of the law. If you would like to help change the way society all too often treats (or mistreats) animals, please sign the following petitions:

Animal Abuse in Chesapeake, Virgina -On October 10, 1999, a beloved cat was tortured and senselessly killed. This web site is dedicated to her memory, in the hopes that her death will help awaken society to the horrors of animal abuse. Please spread the word about this, and sign the Petition!

"Alert the Media!" - This is a letter that we think impresses upon the news media the need to treat these cases as a growing problem - and one that needs to be brought into national exposure. The goal is a mass mailing to each of the major television news media (ABC, CBS, and NBC), requesting prime time exposure about the severity of animal abuse. The hope is that the more attention brought to the public about this issue will provide the fuel we need to get the laws changed.
