Population Growth Control:

Later with development of science machines came in existence. Machines made development faster and could match population growth for a long period. In today's world development is far behind population growth and hence there is a need to retard population growth.

Its every one's responsibility to contribute towards retarding population growth. Those who hardly contribute towards development of resources need to take it more seriously to avoid child births. No religion prevents persons to avoid sexual relationship among couples. In fact all religions do preach to have constraints on sexual relationship. Therefore, all believers must exercise restraints in their sexual relationship. However, those who have negligible control over desire (i.e. almost all of us) shall have to accept and practice artificial constraints. Fortunately no religion specifies how the constraints should be put in practice. No objection in this regard should be accepted by the state and must implement it ruthlessly. The only alternative available to persons is accept need of today and practice restraints either through mind control or artificial aids. No person need be given privileged treatment based on religion, caste or any other criteria.

I have an idea to implement birth control among people under poverty line. This being the major area where birth rate control is needed the Government should offer awards to those who undergo vasectomy. This reward should be considered on same lines as offering 'Voluntary Retirement Scheme' offered to employees. This also should be used to encourage birth of female child. The award should be in the form of lifelong pension to the couple separately to husband and the wife. Difference would be in VRS a lump sum is paid to the employee and in this scheme a fixed monthly income would be given to husband and wife separately. The money should be deposited by the Government on the individual saving bank account in the selected banks. This pension may be deposited on two different dates say Fifteenth of each month in wife's account and last day of the month in husband's account. The criteria for giving the reward are briefly given in the following table.

Money for this can be partially found from reduction in expenditure on present methods of population control and savings accrued in future because of reduction/stabilisation of population.

This may be a solution for other obstacles like starvation, under nutrition and suicides
