| About Us! The January 2003 Playgroup is a message board community of women who had babies in January, 2003. We are a very diversified group with members all over the world. A little History! Most of the members have been a part of the group since early pregnany. We have shared the discomforts of everthing - from morning sickness to contractions, and everything in between. As well as the triumphs and joys of hearing our baby's heartbeat for the first time to the indescribable feeling when we set our eyes on our new little one for the first time! We have been there for each other through pregnacy as an "expecting club" through birth, and now into motherhood, as a "playgroup". The friendships we have developed with each other go way beyond just a baby-oriented relationship. We have shared our feelings, offered our advice, and gave our support to each other in any and all situations a member may be going through. Most importantly, we laugh together and have truly built more than an online relationship with each other. How it all Began! Our message board was started in May of 2002 on the Parentsplace site of the Ivillage Network. In March, 2003, Parentsplace changed its message board format and majority of the board members were unhappy with the change. So, we created a new message board on Network54. This new board is managed, set up and designed by us. |
